This is a Two Medallion Kagizman Kazak Rug, also known as Caucasian Kazak rug, is a type of handwoven rug that originated from the Kagizman region in northeastern Turkey, near the border with Armenia. These rugs are named after the Kazak tribes who traditionally wove them. Kagizman Kazak rugs are part of the broader category of Caucasian rugs, which encompass a diverse range of rug styles from the Caucasus region. They are known for their bold and geometric designs, vibrant colors, and high-quality craftsmanship. The designs of Kagizman Kazak rugs typically feature large, central medallions surrounded by intricate geometric motifs, such as stars, diamonds, and latch-hook patterns.
