Sarkoy Kilim

The striking combination of vibrant red and deep navy blue is quintessentially Sarkoy, showcasing the region's renowned color sensibility. The border and central field feature the Tree of Life motif, while bird-like figures—known as "Bird Sarkoy"—appear throughout, traditionally paired with the Tree of Life in these kilims.
Mihrab patterns grace all four corners of the field. The earthy ochre and black tones of the border create a harmonious, grounded palette, while the beige Tree of Life design in the border adds warmth and sophistication. The judicious use of white is characteristic of authentic Sarkoy weaving.
